Creake Abbey Farmers' Market

Book Tickets Online

About

We host our award-winning Farmers’ Market on the first Saturday of each month (excluding January). There are over 50 stalls to choose from offering fresh local produce including meat, fresh vegetables, fruit and flowers in season, cheese, cakes, savoury and sweet tarts, pies, fudge, artisan breads, pickles, oils, vinegars, preserves, local ales and wines, juices and plants plus much more.

The market is held across the site in an old grain store, in two stunning Norfolk brick and flint barns and outside by a picturesque pond. A core of 50 stall holders attend each month but guest stalls with new produce are welcome bringing the total attending to around 55 on any single market day. Tasting, samples and chatting to the stall holders is very much encouraged.  Support for farmers and local food is of paramount importance so please do come along and see all that is on offer.

The market opens at 9.30am and closes at 1pm.  The independent shops and framer at Creake Abbey are open from 10am to 4pm as too is the Creake Abbey Café and Food Hall (opens at 9am).

At all our farmers’ markets purchasing on the day is welcome and most stalls accept credit/debit cards however advance orders are also possible.

The market is set within the grounds of the ancient ruins of Creake Abbey dating from the 13th century, including presbytery and north transept with chapel. The abbey site in a beautiful and tranquil valley set in 40 acres of meadow in the stunning north Norfolk countryside.
