Horse Racing

On the outskirts of Fakenham town you will find Fakenham Racecourse, the only national hunt racecourse in Norfolk. Having run for over 100 years, it is a popular day out and a thrilling experience.

A day’s racing is an exciting day out for people of all ages; Fakenham Racecourse has a friendly, casual atmosphere and it has no formal dress code. It can be a family affair as children aged 17 and under are admitted free (must be accompanied by an adult) and there are often family fun days. A firm favourite in the social diary is Ladies' Day. There are several fixtures throughout the year including an Easter, Christmas and new year's day meeting.
