About

At the heart of this stunning deer park on the north Norfolk coast, stands Holkham Hall, an elegant 18th century Palladian style house, based on designs by William Kent and built by Thomas Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester. Discover the incredible art, architecture, furniture, statuary and history on a pre-bookable guided tour.

A visit to the fascinating Holkham Stories Experience, where we celebrate the many stories of Holkham’s 400-year heritage, is a must. Enjoy the lakeside walk to the Walled Garden to see the vineyard, kitchen and cutting gardens and catch up on how the renaissance project is progressing.

Adventures abound with cycle hire around the myriad of trails in the park, boat hire on the lake and climbing up into the treetops on our ropes course.

Our café serves delicious home-made snacks and light lunches and the eclectic mix of treats and presents in the gift shop, many by local makers, is a shopper’s delight. With amazing events throughout the year you will be thoroughly entertained.

The Lookout: The Lookout on Lady Anne's Drive provides visitors to Holkham National Nature Reserve and beach with lavatories, a modest refreshment facility and interpretation on the habitats and wildlife on the reserve.

Holkham Boat Hire: What better way to while away a summer’s afternoon than in a rowing boat on Holkham’s mile-long lake. This stretch of water is a haven for wildlife and a great way to see the Hall and park from a new perspective.

Level access to shop, café, walled garden, Holkham Stories Experience and hall's ground floor. A stair climbing machine gives access to the hall's first floor for most manually operated wheelchairs. Full access information is available on our website.
