Green woodworking spindle course using a pole lathe at Deepdale Farm

About

Join rural crafter Richard Rood at Deepdale Farm for his popular one-day course introducing you to green woodworking.
During this one-day course you'll be introduced to the properties and handling of green wood, become familiar with tools including the draw knife and pole lathe, and ultimately make and take home a selection of objects to use at home.
All tools are supplied by the instructor.
Please wear clothing suitable to work under cover but outdoors, i.e. multiple layers.
Please bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the barn or courtyard. Hot drinks will be provided.
Max. 4 attendees. Venue well ventilated.
This is a great opportunity to gain skills in a mindful rural craft.
