Forgetmenot Cottage is a beautifully preserved Grade II listed haven, nestled in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea. Here, coastal calm blends seamlessly with elegant comfort.

This beautiful boutique retreat offers a sumptuous and thoughtfully designed living space, perfect for unwinding in style. This flows effortlessly into a sleek, well-equipped kitchen and dining area, ideal for gathering with family or friends over leisurely meals or morning coffee.

Four elegant bedrooms sleep up to 8 people and provide peaceful sanctuaries, each tastefully furnished with plush bedding to ensure restful nights.

Beyond the interiors, the cottage opens onto a private, enclosed garden, a tranquil outdoor haven with seating areas for al fresco dining, sun-soaked lounging, or evening drinks under the stars.

The cottage benefits from two private parking spaces, a rare find in this popular coastal town. Just a short stroll away, you’ll discover the bustling quay, independent shops, cosy cafés, and renowned seafood restaurants. Whether you're returning from a windswept walk along the beach or a day exploring the salt marshes, the soft furnishings and inviting wood burner make this the perfect place to unwind.

Wells-next-the-Sea is a gateway to the stunning North Norfolk coastline, with Holkham, Brancaster, and Burnham Overy Staithe all within easy reach.

Ground Floor

  • Entrance Hall: Hooks for coats, space for boots and wellies
  • Bathroom:  Bath, shower over basin, WC and heated towel rail.
  • Bedroom 1: King sized bed with ample storage.
  • Living Room: Features elegant stone flooring and is furnished with two stylish faux leather sofas, including one with a chaise longue. A flat-screen SMART TV with Freeview, side tables with lamps and charming wood burner.
  • Kitchen/Dining Room: Modern fitted kitchen with electric triple-oven cooker, six-ring gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, washer-dryer, under-counter fridge, and separate freezer. Fully stocked with cookware and utensils. Large wooden dining table seats 8. Wood burner adds warmth and character.

First Floor

  • Landing area provides access to three bedrooms, a shower room, and a dedicated workspace with plenty of power sockets.
  • Bedroom 2: Features a super king-size bed (convertible to twins), two wardrobes, bedside tables, and reading lamps.
  • Bedroom 3: Includes a king-size bed (can be split into twins), bedside tables, lamps, drawers, and a spacious walk-in wardrobe.
  • Bedroom 4: Offers a double bed with bedside tables, lamps, and hanging storage.
  • Shower room: Includes a walk-in shower, hand basin with storage cabinet beneath, WC, heated towel rail, illuminated mirror with shaver socket, and a bathroom cabinet.

Garden

French doors from the living area lead out into a private patio and spacious, private garden – fully enclosed by fencing and shrubs and featuring comfortable outdoor furniture for al fresco dining.

There are two designated private parking spaces for Forgetmenot Cottage.
