Pumpkin House

About

The Pumpkin House, the seasonal family attraction at Brookhill Farm in Thursford, is preparing to open its doors once again this October for its annual Halloween season, bringing pumpkin picking, countryside games and a packed calendar of special events to North Norfolk families.
Created by husband-and-wife team Henry and Victoria Cushing, The Pumpkin House transforms the working farm each autumn into one of the region's best-loved Halloween destinations. At the heart of the attraction is the Pumpkin House itself — a handmade wooden structure decorated with more than 1,000 pumpkins where visitors can choose their own pumpkin straight from the shelves. Every pumpkin comes with a free leaflet on how to carve it, cook it, or even grow one at home. A Mini Pumpkin House also gives younger visitors their own space to pick out the perfect pumpkin.
Beyond pumpkin picking, this year's season also offers
•A spooky 6-acre maize maze, complete with map
•9 holes of adventure Ghoulish Golf
•The Halloween Haven shop, stocking decorations, costumes and Pumpkin House merchandise
•Traditional countryside games including tin can alley, welly wanging and hoopla
•Mud kitchens and a builders' yard play area for younger children
•Face painting and a spooky sweet shop serving toffee apples and Halloween treats
•Vintage farm machinery on display, and music from the farm's original musical organ
•A pop-up café and food truck serving seasonal treats, from pumpkin cake to wizard cookies
