Norfolk Heritage Open Days 2025

About

Celebrate history and discover the unknown this September, for free! Norfolk Heritage Open Days (HODs) offers everybody the opportunity to explore buildings and places throughout Norfolk and North Norfolk, they may not have ventured into before, learn more about our cultural heritage and discover hidden gems not normally open to the public. Events will take place between 11 - 20 September 2026.

All Heritage Open Days events are free for you to experience and enjoy. Due to limited capacity, some events must be prebooked.

Norfolk HODs is a collaboration between hundreds of venues, organisers, community partners and volunteers who work to bring the festival to life for thousands of residents and visitors. The Forum Trust funds the coordination and promotion of Norfolk HODs each year as part of its charitable purpose and we're proud to be coordinating such an important festival, which makes heritage accessible to the whole community.
