About
Norfolk Broads Direct is a leading premium charter boat operator on the Norfolk Broads National Park, offering luxury boating holidays from a fleet of 59 modern cruisers.
Founded in 1878 by John Loynes, the company has a long heritage on the Broads. While the fleet has evolved dramatically since those early days, the commitment to exceptional boats, outstanding customer care and memorable boating holidays remains unchanged.
Our contemporary fleet of luxury cruisers is among the most modern on the Broads, with boats designed to accommodate 2 to 11 guests. We continually invest in upgrading and enhancing our fleet to ensure guests enjoy the highest standards of comfort, style and reliability.
All cruisers have been independently graded by VisitEngland, achieving 4- and 5-star ratings. Our flagship Premier Cruisers represent the very highest specification on the Broads, offering enhanced interiors, premium facilities and exceptional onboard comfort.
Every cruiser is equipped with a range of modern comforts including 240V electricity, warm air heating and onboard entertainment systems, ensuring guests enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay on the water.
For guests who prefer to stay on land while enjoying the riverside setting, we also offer a collection of waterside holiday homes overlooking the River Bure. Accommodation ranges from stylish apartments to spacious multi-storey cottages and penthouses, all offering beautiful views across the river or our marina.
