Welcome to the only museum of Broadland life at the historic Stalham Staithe. Discover iconic boats, the landscape and wildlife, see how people lived and worked, and find out how invaders and windpumps shaped the Broads. Take a river trip on our steamboat, or our accessible, electric boat. Bring a picnic or buy drinks, ice creams and snacks to enjoy by the river. There are events, trails and activities for all ages, and families, groups and dogs are all welcome.
Guide Prices
Museum only:
Adults: £9.50
Children and Young People: (12-18): £5.50
Under 12’s: Free
Dogs free entry. Please keep on leads.
Visit once and gain free admission for the rest of the year!
Boat trips only:
Adults: £10 – £12 (50 mins)
Children and Young People (5-18): £6.50 – £7.50
Under 5’s: Free on Marsh Harrier (not allowed on Falcon)
Carer’s: Free
Dogs: free – at discretion of the helm, life jackets available.
Combined museum and boat trip:
Adults: £17 -£19
Children and Young People (5-18): £10 – £12

Follow the brown signs on the A149 at Stalham. Parking at Richardson's Boatyard, disabled parking outside the Museum. Mooring for Museum visitors on our quayside.
