About

Hoveton Hall 15 acre Gardens are well known and loved by locals and visitors alike. The gardens offer a variety of vistas including the walled Spider Garden made famous by the highly ornate spider's web gate. There is also the Old Kitchen Garden, a former one acre Victorian walled kitchen garden now with the addition of lawns and herbaceous borders while still providing fruit, vegetables and herbs to the onsite cafe and main Hall. Walking around the gardens you will also find the clematis walk, an arboretum, two lakes, the woodland walk, the magnolia and water gardens, a Grade ll listed 18th century glasshouse and ice well.

These beautiful gardens being with a burst of early spring bulbs, the spectacular rhododendrons and azaleas in May and June through to the mid-summer delights of the Spider Garden. Full summer colours of hydrangeas followed by autumn berried shrubs and leaf tints complete what is truly a garden for all season.

The gardens offer tranquility for all and excitment and adventure for our younger visitors with our free nature spy trail.

There is a also a vast range of events that take place throughout the year.

We have an excellent on-site cafe called Garden Kitchen Cafe which is open Sunday -Friday 10am to 4pm.
