Morston Hall Hotel and Restaurant

About

Morston Hall is an intimate home-from-home with just 13 large and beautifully appointed rooms — a blend of comfort and laid-back luxury. Nestled on the edge of the North Norfolk coast, Morston Hall is a retreat designed to calm, inspire, and reconnect.

Whether you choose to stay in the character-rich rooms of the Main House or the light-filled Pavilion Suites, every space is crafted with care. The Morston Hall experience is like no other — where sea air drifts through open windows, birdsong carries across the garden, and time slows.

As with our restaurant, every stay is shaped by the world surrounding Morston Hall — vast open landscapes, expressive skies, salt-tinged breezes, and the natural beauty ofthe North Norfolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This is country house hospitality with soul. A place where comfort meets elegance, and every stay feels personal. Here, your room becomes part of a larger story — of fine food, quintessential coastal scenes, and the kind of service that quietly anticipates your every need.

Stay your way and dine exceptionally

Morston Hall offers two distinct styles of accommodation, each designed to suit a different pace and personality. The rooms within the Main House embrace the building’s historic charm, showcasing original architectural details and a deep connection to the property’s heritage. In contrast, the Pavilion Suites provide a more contemporary and private experience, with generous interiors, patio access, and calming views of the gardens — perfect for guests seeking a tranquil retreat. And they are dog friendly!

Whether you prefer the characterful intimacy of the Main House or the open, airy calm of the Pavilion, every room offers a sense of place: shaped by the light, the land, and the rhythm of the Norfolk coast. Alongside our award winning restaurant, Morston Hall is the perfect place for a luxury romantic getaway to celebrate an anniversary, birthday, or other special occasion.

Due to the small number of rooms at our luxury boutique hotel, and the intimate nature of our Michelin starred restaurant, we kindly ask guests to dine in the restaurant in the evening for the duration of your stay. Before booking, we recommend reviewing our Terms & Conditions for details on the dining policy, cancellation policy, and more.

Over the years, we’ve been honoured with distinctions that celebrate our commitment to excellence, from our long-standing Michelin star to our 4-star VisitEngland rating and Traveller’s Choice awards. These accolades speak to the experience our guests return for: warm hospitality, thoughtful detail, and a setting that continues to inspire.
