A truly unique stay in a country house and its grounds where you can enjoy wild swimming, fishing and walking. Perfect for a staycation - you will never have to leave the property! Set in 25 acres of beautiful gardens, paddocks and a lake, surrounded by farmland as far as the eye can see.

Choose from The Main Hall, which sleeps 38 in 12 bedroopms, 2 ensuite and 4 additional bath/shower rooms.Gunthorpe hall is full of original character with its own personal and entertaining style; part Georgian, Sir John Soane designed, and part Victorian. The bedrooms are –Austin,  Swift Carter Lows  and Ditchburn

The Wing House is a dog friendly holiday cottage set in wonderful gardens with a lake. It sleeps 11 in 4 bedrooms, 1 on the ground floor. Wing House is the end of the Georgian wing of Gunthorpe Hall, with its own front door.  It has all the charm and character of the main hall on a slightly smaller scale with great views. The open plan ground floor kitchen, dining, sitting room is in the oldest part of the hall. The house is well equipped with dishwasher, large American style fridge/freezer, clothes washer and dryer, TV and wifi.

The Grooms Flat sleep 2 (+1 child) in 1 bedroom (dog-friendly). Grooms Flat is a self-contained 1 bedroom hideaway (more than a flat) in the Georgian stables of Gunthorpe Hall.  It is located picturesquely under the restored clock tower with a wonderful ‘oeil de boeuf’ (bull’s eye) window above the door. Enter into a marble floored vestibule and then up the stairs to the bedroom (with double bed), discovering a little loft library on the way.
