North Norfolk is great for shopping with department stores, local gift shops, antique shops, upmarket brands and small individual galleries and boutiques selling the wares of local artisans. Explore the town markets for local produce and unique items and look well worth a visit are the annual Spring and Christmas markets.
North Norfolk is renowned for its art and culture and you will find many galleries along the coast and in the towns. You can also visit artists in their studios where you can see them at work and buy their creations. Visit the towns for traditional seaside gift shops and independents selling unique and interesting wares.
Pop to the pop-up shops at Dalegate Market in Burnham Deepdale, which also holds regular markets and events throughout the year. Head to the Georgian town of Holt with its charming streets and alleyways, offering plenty of unusual shops from arts and sculptures, to books and antiques.

For local food and crafts, meander around the north Norfolk market towns' weekly markets. North Norfolk has lots of pretty market towns, and Reepham is home to a lovely marketplace and impressive 18th century buildings housing interesting shops. Off the marketplace in Aylsham, are lovely streets, lanes and yards, lined with individual shops. For a unique shopping experience, head to Creake Abbey, an Augustinian Abbey dating from 1206. There is a farmers' market on the first Saturday of the month as well as independent shops.

Fakenham town centre is pedestrianised, with shops, cafes and eateries, and is also home to one of the biggest home furnishing shops run by the same family since 1892. Nearby Pensthorpe Natural Park has an impressive gift shop with goods ranging from contemporary household accessories to books, children’s toys and some of Norfolk’s finest food and drink. The National Trust properties Felbrigg and Blickling as well as Holkham Hall, have superb shops selling local and branded products including food, gifts, books and gardening wares.
Wells-next-the-Sea and Burnham Market have some unique shops as well as well-known shops. Situated a stone’s throw away from the coast, you will find renowned restaurants, hotels and charming shops in Burnham Market while enjoying a traditional village atmosphere. Just along the coast, take a stroll along Staithe Street in Wells-next-the-Sea for unique shops and eateries.

Wroxham, the centre of the Norfolk Broads has some great shops, as well as an increasing number of craft shops selling Norfolk produced goods. A must visit is Wroxham Barns with arts and food shops selling Norfolk goods and a fantastic gift and clothes shop.
Only nine miles away, is the city of Norwich, one of the top shopping destinations in the UK, with a mix of small individual boutiques down cobbled, picturesque lanes, department stores, two shopping malls and one of the largest outdoor markets in England.
