International Gansey Day at the Sheringham Museum on November 22, 2025

The event runs from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm and includes live textile demonstrations from various groups, such as the East Anglia Gansey Group, Norfolk Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers, ropemaking, the Norfolk Lace Makers, and many others.

Included within your admission is a morning workshop at 11 am; 'Know Your Gussets!' led by Rita Taylor and at 2pm a talk on The East Anglia Gansey Group charting Project at 2 pm.

Admission is included with museum entry, and no prior booking is required; however, seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day, enhancing the visitor experience.
