A unique opportunity to visit the private Holly Orchard at How Hill, which has one of the largest collections of Holly in the UK, created by the late Peter Boardman and now managed by his nephew Nick Coller. Arrive for coffee and cake with an introduction about the Orchard, followed by a tour with Nick. You will then be able to select holly and foliage to take back to Dairy Barns, where after a delicious home-prepared lunch you will enjoy creating your traditional door wreath for your home. The wreath is made by creating a moss base and then decorating with local evergreen foliage and Christmas decorations and ribbon; keep it natural or go full out Christmas sparkle the choice is yours!
Most importantly, please remember to bring flower scissors or pruners and practical footwear for the orchard tour; we will provide everything else. It may be useful to bring a notebook & pen.
