Join us in February half-term as we start our 2026 season with historic steam and heritage diesel trains in action. One of our lovingly-restored steam engines will haul trains of comfortable carriages dating from the 1950s and '60s which carry the smart maroon livery of that era. A powerful diesel locomotive will also be in action working trains from Sheringham to Holt, alongside the unique recreated "lightweight" heritage railcar of the type that ran on the line in the 1950s.

There's lots to see at each station including a children's play coach and model railway at Holt and activity sheets on board the trains.

We recommend booking in advance and passengers doing so receive a generous 15% discount on their fares.
