The Barns at Thorpe Market

'The Barns' at Thorpe Market is a charming brick and flint converted barn, offering you the ideal base from which to explore beautiful North Norfolk. The pretty hamlet of Thorpe Market lies just a couple of miles inland from the coast, with Cromer (4 miles) to the north and the broads to the south, the Cathedral City of Norwich just 20 miles away.

All of our elegantly furnished en-suite rooms, offer tea and coffee making facilities, plush beds, flat screen TV's, Wi-Fi, fridges, wine glasses, plates and cutlery. These are located in our pretty private courtyard, with space to relax and enjoy after your time exploring.

Your breakfast is served in our vaulted dining room, with a roaring log fire to take the edge off those chilly mornings. We believe starting the day with a hearty breakfast is an essential part of your stay with us.  The ingredients we use for breakfast are top quality, locally sourced and free range produced wherever possible. We cater for vegetarian and vegan's and offer dairy and gluten free options.

We have some excellent eateries within a mile of us.  The award winning Gunton Arms, set in a 1000 acre deer park, or the newly opened Suffield Arms, serving mediterranean tapas, is a walk along the footpath. There is also The Vernon Arms and The Foundry Arms.

Our access statement is available to view on the website, or please call and we can email or post you a copy.
Parking is on site away from the main road.
