Alby Crafts & Gardens

Book Tickets Online

Alby Crafts and gardens, now in its 41st year, was the brain child of Valerie Alston and is still run by the family. There are 10 workshops and teaching spaces a gift shop a lovely tearoom and a vibrant community of quality crafts people working with a wide range of mediums and skills. These include pottery, sculpture, wood turning, furniture making, tailoring, fabrics, mosaics, willow sculpture and flower essences with other artists and work being shown at various times.

The grounds are a delight in themselves and the 4 acres of gardens are a pleasure throughout the year. The gardens were inspired by "The Flower Fairies" by Cicely Mary Barker and if you are very, very lucky you may spot the odd one wandering through the woods or riding on the back of one of the resident peacocks.

The Gardens

The four acre garden is a delightful, peaceful place to spend an hour or two amongst the fairies and the peacocks.
