Pop over to Pensthorpe Natural Park and enjoy Pensthorpe's biggest autumn celebration yet, bringing together pumpkins, family activities, picture-perfect autumn moments and a new spooky twist on the much-loved maize maze. This October, enjoy a magical mix of daytime adventure and Spooktacular Savings at BeWILDerwood! Dress in your best Halloween outfit and get ready to clamber, climb and zip your way through the wild woods during the day and go Twig or Treating with the BeWILDerwood characters. THE HALLOWEEN GARDEN AT HOLKHAM (27 to 31 October 2026).
Meet Vince Vampire and Bog Witch, who’ll be leading a whole host of Halloween adventures in the woods. Join in with games, a spooky treasure hunt to find Boney the Dog, monster drawing, a Halloween dance-off and plenty of puppetry fun. There will be four of these 45-minute workshops each day. Under the canopy in the Walled Garden, get creative with Halloween crafts making spooky ghosts from coffee filters, and take a wander through our Halloween-themed trail. Complete the trail and you’ll be rewarded with a chocolate treat!
Fancy getting your hands dirty? Head to the pumpkin patch, where you can pick your pumpkin and have a go at carving your very own Halloween creation. Pumpkin carving is £4 per person. There will also be face painting, spooky and spectacular decorations throughout the Walled Garden and fantastic story telling sessions each day in the Ed Shed. Find out more and book.

Get ready for some frightfully good family fun this October as Dippy’s Halloween Days return to ROARR! With great mazes, great entertainment and fun craft sessions, there is something for everyone this spooky season. OCTOBER HALF TERM AT BURE VALLEY RAILWAY (24 October to 1 November 2026).
Get on track for half term fun with Bure Valley Railway. This October half term up to two children go free on Bure Valley Railway with a full return fare paying adult. OCTOBER HALF TERM AT WELLS & WALSINGHAM LIGHT RAILWAY (23 October to 1 November 2026).
Hop aboard the world's smallest public railway this October half term. The train steams between Wells-next-the-Sea and Walsingham. Enjoy the half-hour trip through beautiful countryside, over and under bridges and passing a hill-fort. Expect a soundtrack packed with Halloween classics, from Monster Mash to Thriller, alongside plenty of party favourites to keep the atmosphere going throughout the evening. BIG ADVENTURES AT WROXHAM MINIATURE WORLDS (open every day during half term).
Visit the UK’s largest indoor modelling attraction, Wroxham Miniature Worlds, stretching over 10,000 square feet and see some of the largest model railways in the world!
