Take a look at our round up of events and things to do this February half-term in north Norfolk. There's lots to enjoy, whatever the weather. 

Broad Tours Pirate Themed River Trip, Wroxham, 14 to 18 February.
For a swashbuckling adventure this half-term, Broads Tours is running pirate themed river trips. Pirates have commandeered the Cordon Rouge on the Norfolk Broads to seek lost treasure! They need a crew (you!) to help them find it. With pirate-themed decoration, activity packs and commentary from Flint, the pirate ship captain, it’s sure to be a fun experience. Trips last for 1.5 hours and run twice daily during half-term. Tickets £12.50 for adults and children. (And don’t forget to dress up as a pirate too!).


Teddy Bear Express, Bure Valley Railway, 12 to 20 February. 
All aboard the Teddy Bear Express on Bure Valley Railway this February half-term! Children go free on this bear themed event, which will see the Whistlestop Café decorated and serving up teddy bear lunch boxes (not included in ticket price). Have lots of fun on the 45-minute journey each way from Wroxham to Aylsham. Don’t forget to bring your teddy! Children go free with each full fare paying adult (£16 adults, maximum two children 0-15 per adult).


Love Birds, Holkham Hall, 12 to 20 February.
Celebrate our feathered friends at Holkham Hall this half-term. There’s lots of events taking place including bird spotting and workshops. Enjoy walking the free trails around the grounds and sign up for a Build a Bird Box Workshop, where children can join a wildlife expert; and take the bird box home to decorate (£9 per child). There's also an Avian Art Workshop where children can create a bird themed masterpiece (£6 per child). And don’t forget that Holkham Hall is perfect for a family walk or cycle too. Take in the gorgeous grounds and maybe even spot some deer! Bikes available to hire from £10.


Pensthorpe Natural Park, Whose Poo? Trail, 12 February to 20 February.
Pop to Pensthorpe this February half-term to embark on a disgusting journey of discovery about poo! Watch where you step on this family-fun trail around the park and uncover the answers to the questions you've always wanted to know! Find out which bird you need to be aware of when it flies above your head and why your pet rabbit eats its own poo when it's sitting next to a delicious orange carrot! Normal entry fees apply.

Don't forget there's plenty of attractions offering a fun-filled day out for the whole family. With indoor and outdoor facilities, you can enjoy the day, whatever the weather. Enjoy heritage rail journeys on North Norfolk Railway, see South American animals at Amazona Zoo in Cromer, visit an underwater world at Sealife Hunsanton, take a journey with dinosaurs at Roarr!
