Launching Poppy

On 22nd April 2022 Poppy, Norfolk’s first wheelchair accessible powerboat made her first official splash. Officially launched by the Countess of Leicester, Poppy set sail for the first time from the heart of her new home, Blakeney Quay.

Tailor Made Trips

Poppy is a specially designed ferry boat that is designed for wheelchairs, she’s also available for passengers with a wide range of disabilities. She can carry up to 6 passengers in total. 

Trips are tailor made to meet the needs of customers. We understand that there will be family or carers who will want to make the trip as well. Please get in touch and provide us with all information to arrange a trip, suitable to you.

Bookings and Trips

Bookings are made by phone or email so we can understand the particular needs of passengers properly.

Skippers and crew are fully qualified.

Our Timetable is governed by tides and we, of course, keep a close eye on the weather. If the weather was unsafe or not suitable we would cancel and rearrange your trip.

Bookings and Trips are currently running Free of Charge, we welcome donations to the running of the vessel.

Parking is located at Blakeney Quay, it is public parking so if filled on a first come first serve basis, however there is parking available at The Harbour Room, located a short walk up the High Street.
