The White Horse, Blakeney

About

Tucked just above Blakeney Quay on the North Norfolk coast, The White Horse is just as a pub should be – cosy and characterful.

The nine bedrooms are all en-suite and offer a cosy retreat after a busy day exploring Norfolk. Wagging tails will always be welcome through our doors too, so be sure to pack your pup when you visit us for dinner or for a stay.

Whether you’re joining us for a relaxed dinner or a weekend escape, you’ll feel right at home from the moment you arrive.

Food and Drink

We’re incredibly lucky to have local produce right on our doorstep, and our chefs love making the most of it with dishes inspired by Norfolk’s coastal heritage. Our menu is packed with comforting pub classics, fresh seafood favourites, and a few more indulgent options too - all simple, made with quality local ingredients.

Behind the bar, you’ll find a great selection of local and regional beers, wines, and spirits, many of which even make their way into our cooking for an extra touch of flavour. Whether you’re grabbing a pint in the bar, enjoying a long lunch in the light-filled conservatory, or relaxing out in the courtyard away from the sea breeze, The White Horse is the perfect spot to eat, drink, and unwind.

Stay and Unwind

The White Horse has 9 cosy en-suite bedrooms, each full of charm and character, as you would expect from an old coaching inn. Some rooms enjoy views of the coastal marshes and the sea beyond, while others overlook Blakeney’s quiet and quaint High Street. Dogs are welcome to stay and will be provided with their own bed, towel and bowl, so they can settle in and enjoy a coastal getaway just as much as their owners.

Rooms come with a hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities, a TV and Wi-Fi, as well as Connock England products to use during your stay.

Dog-Friendly

Wagging tails will always be welcome through our door, so be sure to bring your pup along when you visit us for dinner or for a stay. To discover the best spots for walkies and wanders, head over to our Explore page below.
