There will be a treat for G&S lovers in Norfolk when 'The Wandering Minstrels' (www.wanderingminstrels.org.uk) visit St. Catherine's Church, Ludham on Saturday 6 June at 7.30pm for 'THE WORLD OF GILBERT AND SULLIVAN'. They will sing, act and dance their way through excerpts from 'The Pirates of Penzance', 'Ruddigore', 'The Gondoliers', 'The Grand Duke', 'Utopia, Limited', 'Trial by Jury', 'Princess Ida', 'HMS Pinafore' and 'The Mikado'. Artistes appearing in this Gala concert are Helen Winter, Emma Stratton, Charles Mills, Tim Hurst-Brown and Bruce Graham, with Peter Hewitt at the piano. Tickets are £15, which can be obtained from Ludham Butchers (01692 678226) or on the door. Refreshments will be available in the interval. The company will perform in period costume and the excerpts will be staged in traditional style. Don't miss what promises to be a delightful evening's entertainment!
