About

Create your own hand-painted sign in a relaxed, friendly workshop — no experience needed.
You'll leave with a finished wooden sign ready to hang in your home.
What will yours say?
Join artist and maker Danielle Neale for a fun and creative afternoon exploring the power of words, colour and self-expression.
In this hands-on session, you'll choose a word that resonates with you — one that inspires, strengthens and brings joy— and bring it to life on beautiful reclaimed wood using layers of paint and stencils . We will be using lovely Annie Sloan Paints to add colour.
This is a chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your creativity in the characterful setting of The Old Piano Shop- located next door to The Bicycle Shop on St Benedicts Street
You'll leave with a unique hand-painted sign — a word that holds meaning — to keep or gift to someone special.
All materials, guidance, and refreshments are included. No experience necessary — just bring a love of words, design and the joy of making. The workshop does involve working with scalpels to cut out the stencils.
Please Note the workshop is taking place at The Old Paino Shop located next door to The Bicycle Shop
Please Note the sign is limited to 8 letters maximum.
