Burns Night Whisky Tasting

About

Pull up a chair, loosen your tastebuds, and prepare for an evening where Scotland's finest spirit meets Norfolk irreverence.

To celebrate Burns Night, we're transforming the Wildcraft tap room into a whisky-soaked classroom for grown-ups. You'll be guided through six carefully chosen whiskies, each poured with purpose and paired with stories, laughs, and just enough education to make you sound clever without feeling like you're back at school.

Your host for the night is Mike Deal. Brewer, storyteller, and ex-teacher, which means two things:

You'll actually learn something.

It will be entertaining, informal, and absolutely not boring.

Expect a mix of bold flavours, surprising contrasts, and approachable explanations, all delivered with Wildcraft humour and zero snobbery. Whether you're a seasoned whisky drinker or someone who usually says "I don't really like whisky but…", this evening is designed to win you over.

What's included:
Six guided whisky tastings

Hearty Burns Night food to keep you fuelled

Hosted tasting experience full of stories, laughs, and whisky wisdom

A relaxed, sociable atmosphere in the Wildcraft tap room

This is not a silent, serious sipping session. It's a proper night out, with good food, great whisky, and a room full of people enjoying themselves.

Limited spaces available. Pre-booking is essential.
Once the drams are gone, they're gone.

Slàinte… or as we say round here: cheers then.
