Morston Quay is part of Blakeney National Nature Reserve which is internationally important for its habitats and offers great wildlife viewing opportunities all year round. Blakeney Point is home to England’s largest Grey Seal colony with around 3,000 white pups born annually between October and January. During the summer months thousands of ground-nesting birds also breed on the reserve.

Throughout the year you can hop onto a boat and go to see the seals on the end of Blakeney Point. Some also land giving you the opportunity to explore this special wildlife haven.

The Norfolk Coast Path National Trail passes through Morston Quay and is great for exploring this beautiful coastline on foot. It gives great views of the saltmarsh between Wells-Next-The-Sea and Blakeney, which is the one of the largest expanses in Europe.

Whilst you're at Morston Quay you can grab a drink and a tasty snack from our refreshments kiosk to either fuel you up for a walk, or you can just sit and watch the world go by in this peaceful coastal location.
