Cinemas are perfect for rainy days and keep an eye out for the pop up cinemas during the summer. Screen-next-the-Sea in Wells is a community cinema, which holds regular screenings and a film festival and Wells Maltings is a theatre and cinema showcasing local and national talent.
There are events all year round celebrating the arts as well as live classical, pop, rock and clubbing outdoor music events in stunning venues including Holkham Hall and the National Trust's Blickling Hall.
As well as being well known for great events, there are several landmarks in the area that inspired many famous writings. The coast, countryside and Norfolk Broads became well-known over the years, when famous writers, poets and authors were inspired to create important literary works. North Norfolk has also been the backdrop for many films and TV programmes.
