The pond at Horsey with the windpump in the background.

About

Join us in the garden at Horsey Windpump and explore the wildlife in our pond. You'll be provided with a net, tray, and an identification sheet to help you put a name to the fascinating little creatures you might see – from pond skaters and water boatman on the surface, to great diving beetles and water scorpions lurking in the depths. And keep an eye out all around you for butterflies, brilliant blue azure damselflies, and different types of dragonfly that also thrive here. How many different species will you spot in and around the pond?

Price - £2 per person. Usual car parking charge applies for non National Trust members.

No need to book, just turn up on the day.
