About
Eels are perhaps our most mysterious fish, whose origin and lifecycle were unknown for many centuries. Eels have a special secret: as young they migrate over 4,000 Km across the Atlantic to live in and around the Blakeney Freshes and up the far reaches of the River Glaven. Join our Ranger team at Blakeney and discover more about them.
Meeting at Blakeney Quay (Carnser car park), we walk onto Blakeney Freshes to look at some eels up close amid their inland habitat.
Suitable outdoor footwear required.
Free event. Booking essential.
