A child with an Easter activity sheet in the orchard at Horsey Windpump

About

Make your way along the trail and find activities for the whole family. The trail takes place between 28 March and 12 April 2026, from 10.00am to 4pm, so come along and explore the beautiful orchard and wildlife garden of Horsey Windpump. Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg.

The trail will get you active, put your skills to the test, and introduce you to some of the amazing wildlife that can be found on the Norfolk Broads. Weave your way in and out of willow poles, guess the animal from cut-out shapes in our mystery boxes, and plant a runner bean that you can take home so you can watch it grow. Get energetic with wheelbarrow racing and test your aim by throwing pinecones into the cornholes – play for fun or get competitive with your companions!

With Horsey Windpump open to visitors from 28 March, why not round off your visit by climbing the 61 steps to the top of the 114-year-old drainage mill? Last entry: 15 minutes before the listed closing time. Balcony open Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays (weather-permitting). Admission charges apply for entry to the windpump.

*Suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.
