About

RoaR Radio presents Summer Sounds – an open day at Barrington Farm on Saturday 25th July 11am - 3pm to celebrate and share the creativity, collaboration and diversity of our current grassroots music and sound project.

Experience a day filled with live music, sound art, creative workshops, Open Studios and more.

Free entry, all welcome.

We're delighted to welcome RoaR Radio's lead artist Oliver Payne (Eastern Ear, Musical Keys), alongside special guests the Norfolk Camerata Choir, Norfolk and Waveney Mind, DJ Chris Angell and Soundyard, with performances from Sam, Matthew and the RoaR Radio artists.

Throughout the day, discover a unique soundtrack created in collaboration with local artists and community partners, including Johann Don Daniel, Amy Nomvula (Innate Creates), Rob Terrestrial, Independence Matters and Sheringham Woodfields School.

There will also be light refreshments available from About with Friends, farm animals to see and hear (weather permitting) plus the Art Barn will be full of new art as part of our annual Open Studios event.

RoaR Radio is proudly supported by Arts Council England, Norfolk County Council and The Barrington Farm Trust.
