Trees are a vital part of the landscape, and the ability to recognise the different species is a valuable skill for ecologists, educators, gardeners and naturalists alike. At this time of the year, trees can be identified by their buds, twigs and bark and we will use these features to introduce you to the key tree species found in the UK With Mary Ghullam (NT) and Dr Bob Ellis (BSBI).
