Spring Equinox Sound-Walk at Sheringham Park

Spring Equinox Sound-Walk at Sheringham Park

Tune out of the noise, and into the Natural World

Details

At the spring and autumn equinoxes, the hours of daylight and darkness are equal. Choose to get up early (or stay out late) and witness the equinox sunrise or sunset. On the way we will pay special attention to the sounds of our environment using a range of listening equipment; from the birdsong of a spring morning to the sounds of nocturnal animals’ autumn foraging. Soundwalks enable us to tune into this rich tapestry and out of the din of human created noise to explore hidden sound-worlds. All equipment provided.
