Steam and Sail Days

About

In partnership with the Wherry Yacht Charter Trust.

Travel back in time to the late Victorian and Edwardian eras! Set off from the Museum by steam to Barton Broad, take a sail in a wherry yacht and then return to the Museum by steam. Please allow 2 hours for the boat trips and please note, the last trip will return to Museum by wherry yacht and so might take a little longer. Museum entry is included in the price.

Bring a picnic. Drinks, snacks and ice creams also available to purchase at the Museum.

Find out more about wherries in our exhibition, From Sails to Blades – How Wind Power Shaped the Broads!

Booking in advance is essential. We apologise, but due to restrictions on board the yacht, we can't accept dogs.
