Blickling's Garden of Lights

As darkness falls, the gardens of Blickling Estate will come alive with light and wonder. See the landscape transformed with bold, playful displays of colour and sound. Explore creative illuminations and interactive moments set against the backdrop of the beautiful historic hall and gardens.

Warm your hands with mulled drinks, savour seasonal bites, and indulge in sweet treats. Share the magic with family and friends and start your festive season with sparkle and joy at our biggest fundraising event of the year.

Tuesday 9 December - Paws evening, bring your four-legged friend to the lights event.
Wednesday 10 December - Relaxed reduced capacity event for those who would like a quieter atmosphere. To book either of these special evenings, please see the separate events on our Upcoming Events webpage.

Ticket prices:

Mon - Thu: Adult £16, child £9, one adult family £27, two adult family £43

Fri and Sun: Adult £20, child £11, one adult family £34, two adult family £55

Sat: Adult £24, Child £13, one adult family £41, two adult family £66

Tickets for under 5s are free, but must be booked. Essential carer tickets are also available. Each family ticket includes up to three children. Children are aged 5-17.

All tickets must be pre-booked. Your ticket includes parking in our main car park.

Last entry to the event is 6.45pm and the event will close at 8pm.

Please note that event tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Eating and drinking
Head to the festive Farmyard for pizzas, chips, toasties and drinks at the start or end of your visit. Along the route, discover warming mulled wine, spiced apple juice, mince pies and gingerbread on the parade.

Christmas shopping
Whether you're searching for decorations, stocking fillers, garden gifts or foodie treats, wander through the Blickling shop to find that perfect present, or pop into the second-hand bookshop in the Farmyard to browse a selection of specialist books.

Good to know
- Your ticket includes parking in our main car park, with accessible bays and toilet facilities close by.
- Entry to our illuminated gardens is 224m from the car park. Please make a note of your time slot as this is your entry time into the car park, your visit is free flow from then.
- Please note that only assistance dogs are allowed at the event, apart from on Tuesday 9 December when will be hosting a PAWS evening for four-legged visitors to join. Find out more and book tickets for the PAWS evening.
- Please note the house will be closed during the evening. To see the decorated house, please visit during our daytime opening hours, 11am -3pm (last entry 2.30pm).
- Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate motorhomes or larger vehicles during this event.
- The second-hand bookshop is open for shopping in the evening, but not accepting book donations during the event.

Access information
The Garden of Lights has a step free route of about 2 miles on a range of surfaces including gravel of different thicknesses, accessible matting and a small area of grass. Electric scooter and wheelchair users are welcome to bring their access aids. We have a limited number of powered mobility vehicles (PMVs) available to hire each night, to find out more and book please call 01263 733956.

If you require one or two carers to accompany you to the event, their entry is free. Please ensure you include a free ticket for each carer at the point of booking.

Disabled toilets are available in the main car park, the East Wing and the Farmyard. A changing places facility is available in the Farmyard.
