About
Celebrate the season in style and create a truly abundant Christmas wreath to adorn your door and welcome your guests this festive season.
In the relaxed, inspiring surroundings of Wolterton, florist Harriet Aitken will guide you step by step through the process of making your own 20-inch wreath. Using fresh flowers and foliage, cones, seed heads and berries, you'll develop your own unique style—whether to complement your front door or to reflect your creative flair. Harriet will be on hand throughout with expert advice on crafting and caring for your finished wreath.
Wherever possible, materials are foraged locally or sourced from the Wolterton Estate. You'll be greeted with coffee and cake and the workshop will be held in the stunning Marble Hall with views over the estate. Before you finish we'll celebrate with a glass of something special and for those who would like to, a private tour of the Hall and gardens.
You'll leave with a beautiful hand-made wreath and plenty of festive cheer.
Fresh materials may include fir, pine, larch, pussy willow, cones, berries, eryngium, genista, limonium, wax flower and eucalyptus.
Dried blooms and seed heads may include hydrangea, nigella, poppy, teasel, honesty, sea lavender, gypsophila, and more.
All materials are provided—including fresh flowers, foliage, wreath bases, tools, wrap and ribbons—and the workshop is perfectly suited for complete beginners.
What a way to start December!
