Meet at the Visitor Centre before heading to the classroom for a short presentation. Our guide will lead you to Bittern hide, listening for the booming call. Once at the hide you’ll keep listening whilst looking to see if you can catch a glimpse of this rare and elusive bird. Please bring binoculars.

NWT Hickling Broad is approximately 4 miles south east of the market town of Stalham, just off the A149 Yarmouth road. From Hickling village, follow the tourist signs, turn into Stubb Road, then the 1st left and then right.
