Experience the ultimate Christmas celebration as Winter Wonderland Norwich returns to the Norfolk Showground for its fourth spectacular year of festive fun. Opening Friday 14th November, the event runs through to Sunday 4th January (see website for opening days).
Brought to life once again by the Matthews Family, this year's Winter Wonderland promises to be the most enchanting yet, inviting visitors of all ages to share magical moments together. With a focus on warmth, togetherness, and the spirit of the season, it's the perfect place to make cherished memories with family and friends.
Guests can glide across one of the largest open-air covered ice rinks outside London and wander through the captivating Christmas Tree Maze, filled with the scent of real pine and sparkling seasonal décor. New for 2025, the Giant Observation Wheel features fully enclosed capsules, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the event and a dazzling 15-minute LED light show that transforms the night sky into a kaleidoscope of colour and wonder.
Visitors can unwind in the brand-new Alpine Bar, featuring cosy seating, a welcoming festive atmosphere, live entertainment, indulgent hot chocolate, and traditional mulled wine. With a handpicked selection of beers and spirits, there's plenty for everyone and it's bound to get you in the festive spirit.
For thrill-seekers and little adventurers alike, the park's rides and attractions promise endless excitement, while those seeking a slower pace can discover the Mistletoe Christmas Market, brimming with unique gifts, seasonal crafts, and delicious festive treats.
This year's Winter Wonderland is a celebration of seasonal food and drink, offering a mouth-watering selection of dining options to satisfy every craving. Treat yourself to festive flavours at Winter Wonderland Norwich: enjoy Loaded Fries or juicy Smash Burgers, savour Asian favourites from Mandarin, and indulge in sweet delights from The Coffee House and Love Churros. Don't miss the Yorkshire Pudding Wraps, filled with 12-hour smoked meats like pulled pork or turkey, seasonal vegetables, and rich gravy. Then warm up with Glühwein, Baileys hot chocolate, and sizzling German sausages – the perfect taste of Christmas.
Father Christmas himself will of course be centre stage (pre-booking is strongly recommended). The mischievous Grinch will also be causing festive chaos on selected nights. A host of street performers and live entertainers will keep the magic alive throughout, offering endless photo opportunities and family fun.
In the true spirit of Christmas giving, admission tickets are free. It is recommended tickets are booked online to be sure of getting in. Attractions such as Ice Skating also fill up fast, so book in advance to guarantee your space.
Getting to the event has never been easier thanks to a new partnership with Konnetbus. Extended bus services will make travelling to and from the city more convenient than ever.
