King's Lyn Literature Festival 2025

The annual King's Lynn Literature Festival, 'The Small Festival with a Big Heart', opens its doors at 6.45 pm on Friday 26 September 2025 in the historic medieval centre of this important former Hansiatic League Norfolk town. It consists of six separate events spread over the last weekend in September.
Speakers will include Sir David Spiegelhalter, Sir Anthony Seldon, Simon Lewis, Patricia Fara, Helen Pilcher, Sarah Day, Martin Figura, Lachlan Mackinnon, Sophie Hannah, Sara Perry, Rachel Hore, Kate Macdonald, D J Taylor and Camilla Balshaw as well as the writing family Lisa St Aubin de Teran, son Alex Macbeth and daughter Iseult Teran.
Topics will range from 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly:300 Years of British Prime Ministers' to 'Poetry for This Life', from 'Living in an Age of Uncertainty' to 'World War II and Literary Culture'; and from 'Unusual Storytelling' to 'Different Approaches to a Life ' plus the fascination of being part of 'A Family of Writers'.
