About
Starting at Woodgate car park, this gentle paced guided walk will head up an incline into the Great Wood, with one of Norfolk's most impressive carpets of native bluebells.
You'll be accompanied by a ranger, who will explain the woodland management involved in looking after this impressive display to ensure these delicate flowers return year after year.
There will be a chance to stop and ask questions, before heading off towards the iconic pyramid-shaped Mausoleum. From here the route will loop back to the bluebells and will finish in Woodgate car park.
The walk will cover around two miles (3km) on well-maintained paths, with some inclines. It will take approximately one and a half hours.
This is a free event, but pre-booking is essential. Please note that £5 parking charges apply for non‑National Trust members.
