About
As the days draw shorter and temperatures in Northern Europe plummet, Holkham National Nature Reserve sees the arrival of tens of thousands of wildfowl, who choose to spend their winters on our grazing and salt marshes. Huge skeins of Pink-Footed Geese, massive flocks of Wigeon and Teal and bustling gaggles of Brent Geese provide spectacular viewing for birdwatchers. Smaller rarities, such as Snow Buntings and Shore Larks also join the crowds and, following them all, are the hunting raptors. Join our expert Reserve Guide to witness this avian winter wonderland at its best.. At the end of the walk you’ll enjoy a well-deserved coffee and cake at The Lookout. The Details
