The Burnham Market Craft Fair

Burnham Market Craft Fair (which started in 1976) will be held on Saturday 20th August.

This popular annual event is back after a 2 year break, is entirely run by volunteers, with stallholders donating a small percentage of their takings. Profit raised are awarded to local good causes.

This year's stallholders have been selected from nearly 200 applications They have been hand-picked for quality and variety. Traditional, local and regional crafts will be displayed alongside items by local artists, designers and artisans on around 100 stalls in the centre of the village, on the greens, from 10.00am to 5.00pm.

Stalls include original art, jewellery, plants, textiles, ceramics, cards, woodwork, pottery, basketwork, sculpture, furniture, glassware, photography, aromatherapy, ropemaking, metalwork and more.

There will be a traditional Hog Roast and a Punch and Judy Show will entertain children throughout the day. There are Pubs, cafes and restaurants and specialist shops that make up this charming and attractive village.

Ample parking is available in the North Street car park or on the Playing Field just off Creake Road near to Burnham Motors Garage, or why not come into the village on the Coastliner 36 bus?
