About
A day of festivities culminating in the lights switch on at 6pm
From noon Sheringham High Street will be closed from the Clock Tower down to the sea and there will be festive live music all afternoon.
Visit Santa in his grotto at Oddfellow's hall from 1pm. Upstairs at Oddfellows capture the wonder of the event with a special festive portrait by a local photographer. And …. there will be FREE mulled wine (for grown-ups only) until supplies run out.
At 5.20pm join the lantern parade from Oddfellows, through town, to the town clock where there will be uplifting seasonal music including two sessions by the Salvation Army, the 2nd of which starts at 5.45pm and precedes the countdown to the 6pm switch-on.
There are plenty of things still in the planning stage so keep an eye out for updates on Carnival's Facebook page - www.facebook.com/SheringhamCarnival/
Don't miss it; it's an event that creates magical memories for all the family.
