North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival

We look forward to welcoming you to the Walled Garden at Holkham Hall. The festival has grown into a highly successful event with visitors from across the county and beyond. Featuring an ever-growing team of local food and drink producers who grow, rear, produce, supply and sell food in North Norfolk.

The festival takes place in the spectacular setting of the Walled Garden at Holkham Hall. Historically filled with vegetables and flowers grown for the Hall, nestled within huge brick and flint walls that offer protection from the elements, they made for an ideal setting to celebrate the abundance of Norfolk.

Stall holders offer their products for sale including fresh meat and game, vegetables, cakes, artisan beer, bread, tarts, juices, cakes and bakes, chocolates and much more. A dazzling array of concessions offer delicious food for eating on site and entertainment ranges from the ever popular cookery theatre to children's activities and face painting.

The North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival Cookery Theatre offers an exciting programme of cookery demonstrations. Eminent North Norfolk chefs will be sharing their culinary secrets and talking you through their dishes. Sara Matthews kicks off the entertainment on Saturday morning with ideas for a plant-based breakfast feast, while you can also expect a couple of decadent puddings from Scott Taylor of The Harper in Langham. Fran Hartshorne of The White Horse at Brancaster Staithe works her magic with fish, Michael Chamberlain of The Victoria at Holkham is preparing Estate venison, Abbi Saunt of Creake Abbey always creates incredibly colourful dishes, and Gary Steward of The Hoste Arms in Burnham Market is thinking small plates. Appearing on both days are the ever chirpy duo, Festival chair and Wells chef Chris Coubrough and his great friend, legendary butcher Arthur Howell.
