Details

Accessed by a private unmade road and set in a quiet rural location, The Long Barn has been lovingly converted by the owners to include many luxury fixtures and fittings such as quality linens, large showers, twin basins and LVT flooring with underfloor heating. Part of a small complex of four cottages that originally formed a brickmakers work, the original kiln is still a feature of the large gardens.

Finished to a high standard with a fun waterside theme the property boasts three large bedrooms with built in wardrobes and en-suite to the master. A good sized family bathroom with bath and shower over ensures there are no battles for the shower in the morning. A large open plan living area with 55" smart tv, dining area and large well equipped kitchen completes the facilities inside.

Outside is a patio with dining furniture and a large enclosed private lawn - perfect for four legged guests as well as children. Additionally there is a large 1 acre field shared with the other three holiday cottages on site.

The Long Barn provides stylish accommodation for guests looking for something special for their North Norfolk break. The Long Barn is perfect for families and couples alike and boasts two bathrooms and bags of style. Located just under 7 miles from the stunning Norfolk coastline, the beautiful Norfolk Broads at Dilham Staithe are accessible from the bottom of the drive; this really is a great choice for those who want to experience all that this region has to offer. There’s no slipway, but it is possible to launch your own canoe, inflatable dinghy or to lower a small craft. Fishing in season is also available (licence required). While day boats can be hired at Wayford Bride, just 3 miles away.
Discover a string of pretty coastal towns and villages including Cromer with its famous pier, Sheringham with the North Norfolk Railway and Sheringham Park; Cley with its marshland habitat, and Blakeney and Wells-next-the-Sea with their picturesque quays. For a slightly different waterside experience head to Wroxham, the gateway to the Norfolk Broads, where you can captain your own day launch or join a chartered tour and just let the world drift blissfully past. History buffs will enjoy the Muckleburgh and Thursford Collections and the Felbrigg, Blickling, Holkham and Sandringham Estates, along with a trip to the medieval city of Norwich. The young at heart will also find much to love with lots of traditional seaside attractions, Amazonia Zoo and BeWILDerwood.
After a day of exploring you may have built up an appetite, foodies will also be delighted to discover Norfolk burgeoning food scene with lots of great places to eat, many of which serve seasonal menus packed with local produce. Add in great walks and cycle routes, virtually from your doorstep, three great golf courses close by and fishing almost on-site, you really will have so much to do that you’ll have to come back just to fit it all in. Beach 6 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
