Old Church Hall

About

A stylishly furnished, dog friendly cottage sleeping two guests. Old Church Hall is settled in a peaceful position in the small hamlet of Glandford  in North Norfolk, on a quiet country lane with no car access beyond the ford with its wild ducks and footbridge.  The cottage has private parking on the drive and plenty of parking on the road. It is only a short walk to the popular Cley Spy, an excellent shop for birders, and Cley Smokehouse with its wonderful deli and café.

The cottage’s appeal of eclectic mix of contemporary and old, will intrigue you in as you step into the open living space. The large comfy sofa will welcome you to unwind at the end of your day with your four-legged friend at your feet. The wood burner is a focal point to the open plan living space, making this a cosy cottage in the colder season. The double bedroom is tastefully furnished, and the bathroom has underfloor heating with an extra-large sized shower.

This uncomplicated one level property is ideal for those who find stairs a challenge. The old village church stands proudly behind the cottage and the bell chimes will remind you of days gone by.  Glandford is a short walk to the popular Wiveton Bell pub and is positioned within the distinguished birdwatching hub of North Norfolk.  The wide sandy beaches of Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea are only a short drive away, as is the charming town of Holt. Blakeney, Cley and Salthouse are even closer, making this bolthole the perfect base for exploring the beautiful North Norfolk coast.
