Here’s a round-up of some of the markets and fairs taking place in November and December 2018.

Pensthorpe Christmas Market, on 25 November 10am - 4pm.

There is something for everyone included jewellery, homeware, boutique food producers, toys and lots of other goodies. Watch the Christmas lights being switched on and enjoy live music to get that festive feel! There's even complimentary mulled wine and mince pies for members! Special event offer – reduced entry into the park is £8 for all visitors (under 3’s free).
Pensthorpe is also holding two late night shopping events on 15 November and 13 December, providing an opportunity for evening browsing. Peruse the Pensthorpe shop, which is a treasure trove packed with gifts, local food and drink, toys, jewellery, homewares and nature books, plus items for bird-care and wildlife watching. There will be special discounts for members plus supplier demonstrations enabling shoppers to try before they buy.

The ninth annual Dalegate Christmas Market takes place on 30 November to 2 December, in the charming village of Burnham Deepdale. There will be more than 120 local artisans and producers setting out their stalls in large marquees, the backpacker’s barn and St Mary’s church. An ideal chance to look for unusual gifts, decorations, jewellery, toys, books as well as enjoy seasonal food, drink and beer. There will also be plenty of entertainment throughout the weekend including live music. Entry and car parking is free.

Holkham Festive Food Fair is taking place on 15 and 16 December from 10am-4pm. Taking place in the stunning Lady Elizabeth Wing on the Holkham Estate, there will be stalls selling locally made produce from Norfolk producers as well as foodie gifts. Enjoy music and live cookery demonstrations.
To find the ideal gift, head to Holkham to the Courtyard Gift Shop on 15 and 22 November between 4-7pm, when there will be Christmas Shopping Evenings.

As well as the Christmas fairs and markets, north Norfolk is superb for shopping in the run up to the festive season. Burnham Market, Holt, Wells, Sheringham and Cromer are great for Christmas shopping.

The gift shops in venues across the area offer individual and delightful gifts and decorations. Pop to Pensthorpe Natural Park, Wroxham Barns and the National Trust’s Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall, to browse in beautiful settings.
