Discover Sea Palling
Sea Palling is a quiet village on the north Norfolk Coast with an award winning beach and unique areas of unspoilt natural beauty. The beach is ideal for children with safe waters calmed by man-made coastal defence reefs. Sea Palling has a rich history dominated by sea flooding, ship wrecks & heroism on the waves. Nowadays, water sports ranging from swimming to jet skiing are an important part of life, attracting visitors & locals.
Along the coastline, you will find sand dunes separating the low lying land from the sea. The dunes offer amazing views of the coast & countryside. The quiet beach is ideal for walking, and dogs are allowed in certain areas. In the village, there are plenty of cafes, shops & amusement arcades and a pub. For places to stay, there are B&Bs and caravan parks.
Nearby Waxham has a rural beach, and is a wonderful location to spot seals close in-shore & later in the season, when they can be seen on the beach with their pups. The village is also home to one of the largest & most famous 16th century tithe barns in the country, with a small exhibition of Elizabethan agriculture & a cafe.
For a quiet traditional holiday with village feel, Sea Palling offers great access to the coast & countryside.
