Beach Safety
North Norfolk is proud of its Blue Flag beaches and much effort is devoted to making them safe for everyone. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) operates the beach lifeguarding service on behalf of North Norfolk District Council, providing the cover at Sheringham, Cromer, Mundesley and Sea Palling beaches.
Dogs on the Beach
Beaches along North Norfolk's delightful coast consistently win awards for water quality, cleanliness and safety that everyone to enjoy. To maintain the high quality of our beaches, certain areas have restrictions in place for dogs.

Warm and friendly staff at our Tourist Information Centres (TICs) can assist any visitor with services ranging from accommodation booking to providing information on local events, attractions and things to do in North Norfolk and a lot more.
